Een groots mens heeft afscheid genomen van het leven, een leven dat met 27 jaar "gekort" werd, alleen vanwege zijn huidskleur. Heeft men van hem geleerd om ondanks alles zich alsnog waardig te kunnen gedragen. Ik heb mijn twijfels.

Dear family of Mr. Mandela

Mr. Mandela is in my opinion a unique person, a president for his people, black or white.
I think we can learn a lot from him yet.
My sincere condoleances to his family. May the world never forget him.

You were marvellous, a man between human people.
You haven given the world dignity and has inpired lot of us.
I pray for you for this journey.

I thank you for all that you have given to all of us.

My heart feels sorrow. You have lived your life .
I hope that you could look backand see that all your goalss have been acoomplished.

Strenght for all. Nelson Mandela was one of the most positive guidances for the whole world.
Each person on earth knew who he was and wat he stood for. The example of how every individual should behave and: "To be, or not to be" . . . "Visualize and it will happen" . . .
We all loved him and are proud to say: "We knew him".
It is a major loss for menkind that he is not physicaly in "being" here.
But, the richness is mentaly, He will always be there and here. Maybe, that can be the comfort in missing him.
It's almost Christmas. The story of a man who lived and actually never died.

Een echte strijder voor gelijke rechten voor blank en zwart is niet meer. You have given the world and all it's people so much there was not much left for yourself. So now we bid farewell to one of the greatest persons ever to have walked the face of the earth. Nelson Mandela. I remember that one day, the day when was announced that Nelson Mandela was released from his cel in the prison of Robbeneiland. I was thirteen. After being imprisoned for 27 long years you still believed in kindness, peace between the oppressors and the oppressed, and freedom. There are not many men like you. If there were more men like you the world would be a far better place. Though it is not too late to change, it will be harder to do so without your wisdom and guidance. Therefore we shall have to miss you but you will be in all our hearts forever. For you have changed the world and made it a better place. You have left a deep impression in me, i can only guess what the people that have actually met you feel now. Peace welldeserved. Forever free... xxx

Neem deze schat van een man op in Uw hemelrijk, zoals deze man heeft geleefd is helemaal op en top, dit wens ik hem toe!
Lieve familie, ook U wens ik heel veel sterkte toe in deze nare tijd, een heel groot mens is ons ontvallen, laat de Heer U de kracht geven door te gaan, zoals U man, en vader het gewild zou hebben.

Nogmaals heel veel sterkte toegewenst met dit hele grote verlies.
